you’re here because
Pregnancy and parenting can feel harder than expected.
When you’re caring for everyone else—and starting to feel stretched thin.
Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting can bring moments of deep joy—alongside uncertainty, exhaustion, and self-doubt.
You may not feel quite like yourself. The physical and emotional changes can feel intense, and adjusting to a new stage of life isn’t always as smooth as you expected.
Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, recovering from birth, adjusting after fertility challenges, or parenting a toddler, teenager, or adult child, it’s common to feel spread thin, unsure, or quietly overwhelmed.
These transitions reach far beyond parenting. They can affect your relationships, your sense of identity, your work, and how you show up for yourself while caring for everyone else.
Parenting doesn’t necessarily get easier as children grow. New stages — like adolescence, increasing independence, or launching into adulthood — bring their own stress, grief, and uncertainty.
When so much is changing at once, it can feel hard to slow down, catch your breath, or feel confident in who you are.
Pregnancy and parenting can bring unexpected challenges.
Pregnancy can be more complicated than expected.
Pregnancy can bring excitement and hope, along with stress, worry, and emotional shifts that may catch you off guard. Even when pregnancy is wanted or planned, the physical and mental changes can feel intense and unexpected.
You may notice increased anxiety, changes in mood, worries about your body or the birth, or a sense that you don’t quite feel like yourself.
These experiences are more common than people often talk about, and they don’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.
During pregnancy, you might notice:
Feeling more anxious, overwhelmed, or easily triggered
Increased worries about pregnancy, birth, or what comes next
Changes in how you feel about your body or yourself
Intrusive or unwanted thoughts that feel unsettling
Parenting isn’t always what you imagined it would be.
Loving your children deeply doesn’t make parenting easy. Even in the most meaningful relationships, there can be moments of exhaustion, frustration, and self-doubt.
You may find yourself burnt out, questioning your patience, or feeling unsure about how to respond in ways that fit with the kind of parent you want to be.
Parenting can be unpredictable and demanding, no matter how old your children are or how much experience you have.
During these times, you might notice:
Feeling overwhelmed, irritable, or emotionally exhausted
Difficulty managing patience or reactions in the moment
Guilt or self-criticism about how you’re showing up as a parent
Tension or strain within your family or relationships
A sense of losing yourself while caring for everyone else
a cooperative approach to therapy
What working together can look like
Therapy with me is collaborative and centered on what matters most to you. As a parent myself, I understand how complex and layered this season of life can be.
My role is to support you as you navigate this chapter — helping you pause, reflect, and notice what’s coming up, rather than being overly directive as what you should do. I may offer observations or guidance, but you remain in control of our focus and direction.
At the beginning, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and clarifying what feels most important right now. Some clients meet individually; others include a partner or co-parent. We’ll adjust as needed along the way.
Sessions are meant to feel comfortable and real — a space where you don’t have to be at your best. Together, we’ll explore what feels overwhelming, notice patterns that may be getting in the way, and identify meaningful shifts that feel possible.
what we can focus on together
Therapy can offer support for pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges.
Therapy offers space to slow down and sort through what’s feeling hard — without pressure to have it all figured out.
It won’t make parenting effortless, but it can help you feel more supported and confident as you navigate this season.
Together, we may focus on:
What feels most challenging right now
Responding more intentionally in parenting moments
Supporting your child through emotional or behavioral struggles
Strengthening communication with a partner or co-parent
Reconnecting with yourself amid the demands of parenting
You don’t need to be at a breaking point to reach out. If something feels off — therapy can help.
Considering the next step?
If you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting and are curious whether therapy might be helpful, a consultation is a place to start.
It’s a chance to talk through what’s been feeling challenging, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit—without pressure or obligation.
Real support for the moments that feel too much.
